PAM Transport is actively seeking dedicated and professional Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our growing fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport dry van freight to various destinations across regional and over-the-road routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight, adhering to scheduled pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) accurately and comply with hours-of-service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding freight status, delays, and any issues.
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Represent PAM Transport professionally to customers and the public.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hours-of-service (HOS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven commitment to safety and professionalism on the road
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including climbing, bending, and lifting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience operating a dry van trailer
- Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Familiarity with regional and over-the-road routes in the continental U.S.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and route assignments
