Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their travel needs and preferences, offering personalised advice and recommendations.
  • Research, design, and present tailored travel packages including flights, accommodation, transfers, excursions, and travel insurance.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel regulations, visa requirements, and health guidelines.
  • Process bookings accurately and efficiently using our internal systems and preferred supplier portals.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, promotions, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Handle customer queries, amendments, and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure all bookings comply with company policies, ABTA/ATOL regulations, and data protection guidelines.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to foster continuous learning and development.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation with a results-driven mindset.
  • High level of self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and comfortable learning new software and booking platforms.

  • A genuine passion for travel, geographical knowledge, and an eagerness to learn about new destinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a target-driven environment.
  • Experience using travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Galileo) or similar CRMs.
  • Prior experience as a travel agent or in the travel industry is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with various travel destinations, products, and tour operators.
  • GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
