In this role, you will be the architect of unforgettable journeys, responsible for consulting with clients to understand their unique travel needs, preferences, and budgets. Your expertise will guide them through a myriad of options, from flights and accommodations to cruises, tours, and bespoke experiences. You will meticulously research and present compelling travel solutions, utilising your comprehensive knowledge of destinations, suppliers, and booking systems to secure the best possible arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel aspirations, preferences, and budget, offering expert advice and tailored recommendations.
- Research, plan, and book a wide range of travel arrangements including flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, tours, and activities.
- Design and create detailed, custom-made itineraries that cater to individual client needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
- Process bookings, payments, amendments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently using various booking systems (GDS and proprietary tools).
- Provide comprehensive information on destinations, travel insurance, visa requirements, health regulations, and local customs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, new products, and supplier promotions to better serve clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Handle post-booking queries and provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months proven experience in a travel sales or booking role.
- Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrable sales acumen with a track record of achieving targets.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, CRM, supplier portals).
- Excellent geographical knowledge and passion for world travel.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
- Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Experience with a diverse range of travel products (e.g., luxury travel, adventure travel, cruises).
- Multilingual abilities, particularly European languages.
