In this pivotal role, you will be the cornerstone of our clients’ travel experiences, responsible for expertly managing flight reservations, accommodation bookings, and comprehensive travel packages. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of global destinations, airline systems, and travel regulations to provide personalized recommendations and ensure smooth, enjoyable journeys. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget, offering tailored travel solutions.
- Book and confirm domestic and international flights, accommodations, car rentals, cruises, and tour packages using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other booking platforms.
- Provide expert advice on travel destinations, visas, passports, travel insurance, and health requirements.
- Process payments, manage cancellations, and handle modifications efficiently and accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay informed about current travel trends, promotions, and industry developments to offer competitive and attractive options.
- Resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and booking documentation.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role within the travel industry.
- Proficiency in using at least one major Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Excellent knowledge of international travel regulations, airline ticketing, and fare rules.
- Strong geographical knowledge and an understanding of popular tourist destinations.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven sales abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- IATA certification or equivalent travel industry recognized qualifications.
