You will leverage your extensive knowledge of global destinations, airline systems, and travel regulations to research, recommend, and book flights, accommodations, and travel packages tailored to individual preferences and budgets. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget for domestic and international trips.
- Research and recommend suitable flight options, accommodations, car rentals, and tour packages using various booking systems and GDS platforms.
- Book flights, hotels, and other travel services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements and company policies.
- Process payments, issue tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents efficiently and accurately.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel advisories, visa requirements, customs regulations, and travel insurance.
- Manage and resolve client inquiries, changes, and cancellations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, travel industry trends, and global events impacting travel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals by delivering exceptional service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Travel Agent, particularly with flight and package bookings.
- Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Excellent knowledge of domestic and international geography, travel regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong sales and customer service skills with a client-centric approach.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
