Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough training needs analyses across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Design, develop, and update engaging training materials, including presentations, workbooks, e-learning modules, and job aids, using a blended learning approach.
- Facilitate interactive training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, covering a range of topics from technical skills to soft skills and leadership development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs), continuously refining programs for optimal impact.
- Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate record-keeping of training activities and employee progress.
- Provide coaching and support to employees and managers on individual development plans and career progression pathways.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a training and development role, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in developing engaging e-learning content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs assessments and develop targeted learning interventions.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
- Experience with various Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content management.
- Background or strong understanding of the financial services or data analytics industries.
- Experience with virtual classroom delivery platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and virtual facilitation techniques.
