Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and informative tours of our facilities, historical sites, and tasting experiences for individuals and groups.
  • Share the history of J. Wray & Nephew, the rum-making process, and its cultural significance in Jamaica with enthusiasm and accuracy.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests throughout the tour, adhering to all company policies and safety protocols.
  • Answer guest questions comprehensively and courteously, providing detailed information about products, history, and operations.
  • Manage group dynamics effectively, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Assist with the sale of merchandise and products, encouraging purchases and providing product knowledge.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company history, product specifications, industry trends, and local area attractions.
  • Collect feedback from guests and report on tour experiences to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation and breakdown of tour areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for each group.
  • Represent J. Wray & Nephew Ltd. with professionalism and pride at all times.

  • A degree or diploma in Tourism, History, Communications, or a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience working in a distillery, winery, or similar manufacturing tour environment.
