Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Associates to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist with merchandising and visual display efforts to maintain attractive and organized store sections.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposit preparation, and store security.
- Train new Associates on company standards, product knowledge, and operational tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure proper product placement.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to store management as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual respect.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe shopping and working environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Experience in an off-price retail setting.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
