Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Execute visual merchandising strategies, ensuring merchandise presentation is appealing and adheres to company standards.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and safety, including aisles, displays, and stockrooms.
  • Assist in the accurate ticketing and pricing of merchandise.
  • Support inventory control efforts by organizing back stock and participating in inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with store management and team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and locating merchandise as needed.
  • Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory and POS systems.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience (e.g., visual merchandising, stock associate).
  • Familiarity with retail inventory management practices.
