As a Ticket Inspector, you will be the front-line guardian of our transport services, responsible for ensuring that all passengers hold valid tickets or passes, as well as providing assistance and information. Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the validity of passenger tickets, passes, and smartcards on board buses and at designated stops.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and helpful information to passengers regarding routes, fares, and services.
  • Handle ticketing irregularities and fare evasion situations with professionalism, impartiality, and adherence to company policy.
  • Issue penalty fares or report serious breaches in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a visible and reassuring presence on our services, promoting a safe and secure travel environment.
  • Record and report data related to passenger numbers, ticket types, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with bus drivers and other operational staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on company policies and regulations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Stagecoach Bluebird, upholding our values of excellent customer service and community engagement.
