Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies, ensuring accuracy against manifests.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments for production lines or external delivery, adhering to strict timelines.
- Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following comprehensive training and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of stock levels within our systems.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper documentation and secure handling of goods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Identify and report any damaged materials, equipment issues, or potential safety hazards promptly.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and enhance efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and following instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.
- Commitment to safety and strict adherence to all workplace guidelines and procedures.
