Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests and repair procedures on Tesla electric vehicles, including battery, powertrain, and low voltage systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and component replacements according to Tesla's service guidelines and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and proprietary Tesla tools to accurately identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document all work performed accurately and comprehensively in the designated service management system.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with Tesla's evolving technology and service methods.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, and mechanical components
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • ASE certifications (preferred, but not strictly required upon hire – support for obtaining available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or Certificate from an Automotive Technology program
  • Experience with electric vehicles or high voltage systems
