Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of retail assistants, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Manage inventory, including stock checks, replenishment, merchandising, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and backroom.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Assist with staff training and development, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling returns and exchanges as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory or lead role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience with inventory management software and POS systems.
- First aid and/or CPR certification.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
