Encon Insulation, a market leader in building materials distribution, is seeking a driven Telemarketing Assistant to join our dynamic Sales Team at our Oldbury branch. As a Telemarketing Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, playing a critical role in generating new business leads and nurturing existing customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on outbound calling to prospective and existing clients, introducing them to Encon’s extensive range of products and services, identifying their needs, and effectively qualifying leads for our external sales representatives. You will be responsible for setting up appointments, conducting market research, and maintaining accurate records within our CRM system. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive yet professional telephone manner, and the ability to work collaboratively within a target-driven sales environment. You will work closely with the wider sales team, supporting their efforts to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring a seamless customer journey from initial contact to successful project completion. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce Encon's product portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads effectively, understanding customer requirements and ensuring they are well-matched for our external sales team.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for external sales representatives, managing their calendars efficiently.
  • Maintain and update customer information and activity records accurately within the CRM system.
  • Assist in the development and execution of telemarketing campaigns to generate interest and drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and branch teams to ensure a coordinated approach to customer engagement.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Prepare regular reports on telemarketing activities, lead generation, and appointment setting.

Required Skills
