Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support to internal crew members for hardware, software, network, and application issues via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems efficiently and effectively, escalating when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures in a knowledge base system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and tools.
  • Participate in testing and deployment of new software and hardware solutions.
  • Educate users on IT best practices and security awareness.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional technical problems.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
