Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Teacher (Professor/a) to join our esteemed faculty for an immediate start. This full-time position requires an educator who is not only an expert in their subject matter but also deeply committed to holistic student development within an international context. Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to an international curriculum (e.g., IB Diploma Programme, IGCSE, or similar).
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and cross-disciplinary projects.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and well-being.
- Participate actively in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities, clubs, or supervision duties.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment in accordance with school policies.
Required Skills
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, M.Ed., or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching experience in an accredited educational institution.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in educational technology and willingness to integrate it into teaching practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, AP).
- Proficiency in French or other additional languages.
- Experience with inquiry-based learning and differentiated instruction.
- Prior experience working in an international school setting.
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities or school clubs.
