Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new lending opportunities within the local community and existing customer base.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments for clients to determine appropriate loan products.
- Guide applicants through the loan application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate creditworthiness and risk.
- Structure and present loan proposals, clearly explaining terms, conditions, and repayment schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local lending regulations and internal bank policies.
- Collaborate with branch management and other banking professionals to cross-sell products and services.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, acting as a trusted financial advisor.
- Participate in community events and networking activities to represent TD Bank and generate leads.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a lending or financial sales role.
- Strong understanding of various loan products (personal, business, home equity).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles.

- High degree of integrity and professional ethics.
- NMLS registration or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe (if applicable to specific loan types).
Preferred Qualifications

- Existing network of business contacts within the Blades/Seaford area.
- Experience with a major financial institution.
- Knowledge of local market conditions and competitive landscape.
