Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full cycle of recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, preparing new employee packets, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless welcome.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and physical files, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general HR-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including performance management, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as status changes, terminations, and leave requests.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and data analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company HR policies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday or similar enterprise HR software.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
