Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of hourly team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee daily store operations within a specific department (e.g., Guest Experience, Merchandising, Fulfillment, Food & Beverage), ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Drive sales performance and guest satisfaction by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and organized sales floor.
  • Execute merchandising plans, promotional displays, and visual standards to enhance the guest shopping experience.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and backroom organization, to ensure product availability.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance and skill development.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, maintaining Target's reputation for excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a high-performing culture through effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with other leaders.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
