Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves, setting up promotional displays, and maintaining product organization.
- Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced, signed, and labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and assist with backroom organization to facilitate efficient replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to implement visual merchandising directives and store planograms.
- Assist with receiving and processing new shipments, ensuring products are ready for the sales floor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working and shopping environment.
- Provide exceptional guest service by assisting shoppers with product location and inquiries when needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support overall store operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in merchandising.
- Ability to read and execute planograms and visual merchandising guides.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina: ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and pushing.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or stockroom operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
