Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas regularly.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the store.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to spills, accidents, and other urgent cleaning needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies related to cleaning and waste disposal.
- Support store team members by maintaining a clean and safe shopping and working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills.
