Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at PwC, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent to drive our firm’s success. You will be an integral part of our dynamic Human Resources team, responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of critical roles across our Assurance, Tax, and Advisory practices in the New York market. This isn’t just about filling vacancies; it’s about strategically partnering with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, crafting compelling job descriptions, and employing innovative sourcing strategies to find candidates who not only possess the required skills but also align with PwC’s values and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from requisition creation to offer management and onboarding support.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their business objectives and specific talent requirements, advising on market trends and recruitment best practices.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track progress, ensure compliance, and generate reports.
  • Negotiate offers and close candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and attend career fairs or recruitment events as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment trends, labor laws, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in full-cycle talent acquisition, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to source and attract top talent using diverse recruitment methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive and problem-solving approach to recruitment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CIR).
  • Experience recruiting for professional services, consulting, or financial services roles.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion recruiting initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Workday ATS.
