Key Responsibilities
- Take accurate measurements for clients to create perfectly fitted bespoke garments.
- Cut and lay out fabric according to patterns, ensuring optimal material usage and design integrity.
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines to construct garments with precision.
- Perform complex alterations, repairs, and adjustments on a variety of clothing items, including formal wear, casual attire, and traditional outfits.
- Conduct client fittings, making necessary adjustments and providing expert advice on fit and style.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to understand design requirements and translate them into reality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, ensuring tools and equipment are in excellent working condition.
- Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends, tailoring techniques, and fabric innovations.
