Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for new or enhanced systems, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in the design and development of system solutions by collaborating with senior analysts, developers, and project managers.
  • Support the testing and quality assurance processes, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and documenting defects to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing IT systems, identifying root causes of issues and assisting in their resolution under guidance.
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive system documentation, user manuals, and training materials for end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals and system functionalities.
  • Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for system improvements.
  • Continuously learn and apply new methodologies, tools, and best practices in systems analysis and IT operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and systems analysis principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • High level of initiative, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience in an IT, business analysis, or software development role.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and basic SQL querying skills.
  • Knowledge of diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio) or project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
