Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to residents, assisting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility.
- Assist residents with meal times, ensuring dietary requirements are met and promoting a pleasant dining experience.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Administer medication as per care plans and company policy (following appropriate training and certification).
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans.
- Act as a key worker for designated residents, building strong, trusting relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a residential care setting.
- Experience in medication administration.
- First Aid qualification.
