You’ll be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, ensuring products are stored correctly, and preparing orders with utmost care and accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy and quantity.
  • Efficiently and accurately store items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organisation.
  • Pick and pack orders according to picking lists, ensuring items are correct, complete, and prepared for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS) and perform regular stock counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including pallet trucks and other relevant machinery.
  • Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with inventory.
  • Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Good basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer applications and willingness to learn warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a specific Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Valid Counterbalance or Reach Truck Forklift license.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or stock management.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
