Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement robust supply chain models, forecasts, and simulations to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, operations, and finance teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable supply chain solutions.
- Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance and track improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Evaluate and optimize inventory levels, warehousing strategies, and transportation networks.
- Support the selection and implementation of new supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP, WMS, advanced analytics tools).
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on supply chain performance and optimization projects for various stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in supply chain management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, Logistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, optimization, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated experience with supply chain planning, forecasting, and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or other heavy industries with complex supply chains.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., SCMP, CSCP, CPIM).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning systems (APS).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
