Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and potential risks.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for optimizing inventory levels, reducing operational costs, and improving delivery times.
- Monitor and rigorously evaluate supplier performance against key metrics, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contractual agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, and finance, to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and manage strategic vendor relationships.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards on critical supply chain metrics, providing insightful recommendations to management.
- Identify, propose, and implement continuous process improvements within the supply chain, leveraging industry best practices and innovative technological solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Assist in strategic contract negotiations and ongoing management with key suppliers and service providers.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of essential supply chain systems and tools.
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall operational efficiency and strategic objectives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE)
- Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a diverse team environment
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and vendor management
- Solid knowledge of inventory management principles and logistics operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with the energy sector, oil & gas industry, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Experience with advanced statistical analysis for forecasting and predictive modeling
