Your daily responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities, including the precise receipt and processing of incoming deliveries, meticulous organisation and placement of products within designated storage areas, and accurate inventory tracking using our advanced systems. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries efficiently and accurately, checking against manifests.
- Organise and store stock systematically in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilisation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and system updates.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and store transfers for dispatch or collection, ensuring accuracy and damage-free presentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular checks for damaged or expired goods and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse floor at all times.
- Assist with merchandising and stock replenishment on the sales floor as required.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, customer service, and other store teams to support operational flow.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a storekeeper, warehouse operative, or similar logistics role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with retail inventory management systems.
- Valid forklift or pallet truck licence (advantageous, but not essential).
