Job Description
Super Plus Food Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team in Falmouth, Trelawny Parish. As a Store Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our supermarket, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and efficient inventory management. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met consistently, handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
- Oversee all aspects of stock management, including receiving, storing, merchandising, replenishment, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stock-outs, ensuring optimal product availability and freshness.
- Implement and enforce store policies and procedures related to sales, security, and health and safety.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.
- Assist in the preparation of staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Handle daily cash management, including till reconciliation, deposits, and ensuring accurate transaction processing.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Identify and address potential security risks, implementing measures to prevent theft and shrinkage.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting special offers and promotions.
- Perform general administrative tasks and generate reports as required by management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.

- Proficiency in inventory management and stock control procedures.
