Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Store Inventory Officer to join our team in Ikorodu, Lagos. This vital role operates on a day shift schedule and is responsible for the accurate management of all warehouse inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels and seamless operational flow. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining precise inventory data, facilitating efficient receiving and dispatching processes, and contributing to the overall integrity of our supply chain. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory movements within the warehouse using designated inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and investigate variances to ensure data integrity.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring quality and quantity match.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal storage efficiency, accessibility, and product safety.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for timely and accurate shipments.
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports on stock levels, turnover, and potential obsolescence for management review.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, proactively flagging potential issues.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and address any related challenges.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and inventory control procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, if required.
  • Assist in the identification and segregation of damaged, expired, or slow-moving stock.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND/HND/B.Sc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
