The Co-op in Whinmoor, Leeds, is seeking a dedicated Store Attendant to join our daytime shift team. As a Store Attendant, you’ll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks that keep our store running efficiently. You’ll greet customers with a smile, assist them with their queries, and provide excellent service at the till. A keen eye for detail will be crucial as you help manage stock, ensuring shelves are well-replenished, products are correctly priced, and the store remains clean, tidy, and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
- Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Replenish shelves, ensuring products are well-stocked, rotated, and correctly priced.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, tidiness, and visual merchandising.
- Process incoming deliveries and organise stockroom areas.
- Assist with product displays and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales targets.
- Support the management team in daily tasks and opening/closing procedures.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
