Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of tasks including merchandising, stock management, and cashiering procedures.
  • Drive sales performance and meet commercial targets through effective planning and execution of promotional activities and merchandising strategies.
  • Champion exceptional customer service, proactively resolving complaints and ensuring a consistently positive shopping experience for all.
  • Manage staff schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times to meet business demands.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement effective strategies for robust stock control and replenishment.
  • Assist the Store Manager in strategic planning, budgeting, performance analysis, and overall store management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in store efficiency, operational processes, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to support their growth.
  • Handle cash management, banking procedures, and ensure financial accuracy and security.
  • Act as a responsible keyholder, taking accountability for the secure opening and closing of the store.
