Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise, verifying quantities against purchase orders and delivery manifests.
- Unpack, sort, and organise stock in the stockroom, ensuring items are correctly labelled and stored.
- Assist with the safe and efficient movement of goods using appropriate equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet jacks, after proper training).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stockroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with received merchandise.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock takes as required, contributing to accurate stock records.
- Support the wider store team by ensuring products are readily available for replenishment on the sales floor.
- Operate basic computer systems for data entry related to incoming and outgoing stock (training provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth stockroom operations.
