Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries efficiently and accurately, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring all merchandise is neatly stored, clearly labelled, and easily accessible.
- Replenish sales floor with merchandise from the stockroom as needed, ensuring timely availability of products and a presentable store.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with incoming or existing stock to management.
- Prepare stock for transfers, returns, or promotions as per company guidelines and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized back-of-house area, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the sales team by ensuring product availability and efficient stock flow, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or trolleys safely and responsibly, following all training protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues when necessary.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities.

- Previous experience in a retail stockroom or warehouse environment.
