Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and proficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards and health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily operational targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and food safety.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- A valid driver's license.
