Key Responsibilities

  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and product ordering.
  • Act as a leader and coach, providing guidance and support to baristas to ensure operational excellence and consistent service.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by anticipating customer needs, actively engaging with them, and resolving any issues promptly and courteously.
  • Train new partners and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to existing team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for coffee, food, and merchandise, minimizing waste and optimizing freshness.
  • Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage store funds with integrity.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of Starbucks beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by showing up on time, being reliable, and actively participating in team communication.

Required Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the industry.
