Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Stage Technician with a primary focus on event sound setup and operation to join the Searcy Arts Council team. This full-time position is crucial to the success of all performances and events held at the Rialto Theater and occasionally at other venues supported by the Council. As a Stage Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering pristine audio experiences, from intimate acoustic sets to full-scale theatrical productions. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of an event, including pre-event planning and technical checks, meticulous setup and calibration of sound systems, live mixing during performances, and efficient post-event strike and maintenance.
This role requires a proactive individual with a strong foundation in live sound reinforcement, a keen ear for audio quality, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure. While your primary focus will be on sound, a versatile mindset and willingness to assist with other stage production elements, such as basic lighting adjustments and stage management, are highly valued. You will work closely with artists, event organizers, and other technical staff to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional experience for both performers and audience members. If you thrive in a dynamic, creative environment and are passionate about the technical aspects of live entertainment, we encourage you to apply and help us continue to deliver outstanding arts experiences to the Searcy community.
