Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sound Engineer to join our dedicated team at Dubrek Studios, focusing on a rewarding career in music production. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain studio recording equipment, including consoles, microphones, outboard gear, and digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
- Set up microphones and monitor levels during recording sessions to ensure optimal sound quality and capture.
- Engineer recording sessions for various artists and musical styles, providing guidance and technical support.
- Mix and master tracks to professional industry standards, ensuring sonic cohesion, balance, and impact.
- Collaborate closely with artists and producers to understand their creative goals and translate them into polished audio productions.
- Conduct sound checks and provide live sound reinforcement for venue events as required.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of studio equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Archive project files and manage studio data efficiently and securely.
- Stay updated with the latest audio technology, software, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating professional studio recording equipment and DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X).
- Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, microphone techniques, and audio processing.
- Proven experience in multi-track recording, mixing, and mastering for music.
- Excellent ear for detail, critical listening skills, and a creative approach to sound design.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
