Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming packages and parcels, verifying contents against shipping documents.
  • Efficiently sort packages into designated lanes or containers based on destination and delivery routes.
  • Utilize handheld scanners to track package movements and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Load outgoing packages onto trucks and other transport vehicles in a safe and organized manner.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other equipment (after proper training and certification) as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
  • Identify and report any damaged packages or discrepancies to team leads.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 49 lbs (22 kg) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld devices.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical role.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or package handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
