Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testability.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress and defect metrics.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications.
