Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms.
- Ensure technical solutions are aligned with Google's broader strategic goals and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
