Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers (depending on experience level).
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for Canada's Express Entry program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
- Experience in financial services or fintech industry.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
