Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Warsaw. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior social workers in conducting initial assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Provide direct support and companionship to children, fostering a trusting and safe environment.
- Help facilitate access to community resources, including educational, medical, and psychological services, for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting interactions, progress, and service referrals.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and service coordination.
- Assist in the organization and implementation of workshops, support groups, and community outreach programs.
- Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and their voices are heard within relevant systems.
- Continuously engage in professional development and training opportunities to enhance social work competencies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Pedagogy, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish
- Strong empathy, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Basic understanding of social work principles and ethical guidelines
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior volunteer experience in social services, youth programs, or community support initiatives
- Knowledge of local community resources and social welfare systems in Poland
- Basic proficiency in English (for potential international collaborations or resources)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
