As our Remote Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies for various brands, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing objectives. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning, creative content development, community engagement, and performance analysis. Working autonomously yet collaboratively, you will regularly liaise with our internal creative, strategy, and client service teams via digital communication tools to ensure seamless campaign execution and consistent brand messaging. You’ll keep a pulse on the latest social media features, algorithms, and best practices, proactively recommending innovative approaches to enhance client visibility and engagement. Beyond content creation, you will be tasked with tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), generating insightful reports, and providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and opportunities, actively engaging with followers and managing online communities.
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, optimising for performance and budget.
  • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using relevant metrics and tools, providing actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, content, and client service teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaigns.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for content optimisation, audience growth, and engagement improvements.
  • Act as a brand advocate, maintaining a positive online reputation for clients.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, demonstrating strategic thinking and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent content creation skills, including strong copywriting, visual curation, and basic video editing abilities.
  • Demonstrable experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
