Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager with a strong focus on content creation and brand storytelling to join our team in Mbiabong, Uyo. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with The Roothub's brand identity and business objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, audio) across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Plan and execute content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging and relevant posts.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and community engagement.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities within the tech and startup ecosystem.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, program managers) to ensure brand consistency and integrate cross-platform campaigns.
- Manage online reputation, respond to comments and queries promptly, and foster a positive and interactive community environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, algorithms, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and manage targeted social media advertising campaigns as needed to reach specific audience segments.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience (minimum 2 years) as a Social Media Manager or similar role with a strong portfolio.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant social media best practices.
- Solid understanding of social media KPIs and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
