Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, personalized skincare consultations and recommendations based on client needs and skin analysis.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for skincare products and services.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all Montaigne Place skincare brands, ingredients, benefits, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct professional skin assessments using various tools and techniques.
  • Educate clients on product application techniques, skincare routines, and healthy skin habits.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through follow-up calls, emails, and personalized service.
  • Actively participate in promotional events, product launches, and in-store training sessions.
  • Ensure the skincare counter is meticulously maintained, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of proven sales experience in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and various skin types/concerns.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on active listening.
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to meet challenging sales targets.
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per retail demands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Esthetics, Cosmetology, or a related beauty field.
  • Previous experience with luxury skincare brands.
  • Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Efik, Ibibio).
  • Proven track record of building and managing a client book.
  • A strong personal interest and passion for the beauty industry and ongoing trends.
