Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Valdosta, GA. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Implement and enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of site personnel, fostering a productive and cohesive work culture.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with standards.
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and documentation related to site activities.
- Manage material inventories, logistics, and supply chain coordination for site needs.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all environmental regulations and company policies are strictly adhered to.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.
- Proven track record in safety leadership and implementing robust safety programs.
- Strong understanding of operational efficiency and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and project plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery (certification preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
