Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, calibration, and commissioning of Siemens industrial and building automation systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting on diverse Siemens equipment, including PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, and software components.
- Execute system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements as per project specifications and client requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams on Siemens product operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and system configurations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedules as required to provide emergency support.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a technician in industrial automation, building technologies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming (Siemens S7 a significant plus) and HMI interfaces.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various client sites.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Specific certifications or training in Siemens products and systems (e.g., SIMATIC, SINAMICS, Desigo).
- Experience with industrial networks (e.g., PROFINET, Industrial Ethernet).
- Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and HVAC controls.
- Prior experience working in field service roles.
