Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data, including inventory levels, production schedules, logistics, and supplier performance, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models and inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and service levels.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier performance, negotiate terms, and ensure timely material acquisition.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as material shortages or logistical delays.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to model and simulate various supply chain scenarios, recommending optimal solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational processes, implementing new technologies, and enhancing overall supply chain resilience.
- Prepare presentations and communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting global supply chains.
- Support the implementation and optimization of supply chain management software and systems.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations management.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Kinaxis).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and strong analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Solid understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA with a concentration in Operations.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or other relevant supply chain certifications.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
